TYPICAL SYSTEMS
PCS (DCS & PLC Process Control Systems)
This system allows to operate the plant using its remotely controlled equipment (usually valves, motors, heater, ...) by a custom logic or via the intervention of the operator. Moreover raw data form the field instruments allow a finer tuning and a high situation awareness throughout normal operation.
ESD (Emergency Shut Down Systems)
The main functionality is to operate safety equipments (Shut Down/Blow Down Valve, MCC Trips,..) when a certain event occurs, in order to maintain a safe working environment.FGS (Fire and Gas Systems)
In the presence of a fire or flammable gas leak an automatic deluge system spreads flame suppression agents (water, foam, nitrogen, ...) to prevent explosions and blaze expansion.Supervisory Systems
Data from field instruments, PLCs or other systems can be processed in order to provide log operation, business analysis data and operator aggregate reports.LSS (Load Sharing/Shedding System)
A system that allows the plant Power Unit to avoid shutdown during peak demand periods by detaching not preferential loads.
